Tears of Dew Late Harvest Moscato 2006

Time for a nicely aged Moscato for #AgedWineTuesday.

This is a delicious 14 year old, Moscato from Paso Robles. Showing ripen apples and citrus fruits, cooked oranges, honey, melons, tropical fruits, peaches, light vanilla, bananas, apricots, guava, tangerines, mediterranean spices and black pepper.

Sweet on the palate and nicely balanced, with high acidity to balance it out.

Full bodied with great complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

Long finish with tangy lemons.

Loved the nose, but the palate is much more interesting and tasty. Usually it's the other way for me.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with an Italian berry tart. Delicious.

Casa Sant' Orsola

Moscato d'Asti

Not even sure how to rate these amongst other wines; they’d all be 9-10s. Purely quaffable, sweet hedonistic pleasure. Great with a sharp, dank cheese. — 8 days ago

Napa Valley Moscato 2017

This was a great wine on a couple of hot nights this summer. It was never too sweet, but it was delicate and flavorful with hints of straw, pineapple and vanilla. Very enjoyable — 13 days ago

Palàs Moscato d'Asti 2017

This is a very tasty sweet wine from Northern Italy. Showing red apples, honey, melons, tropical fruits, peaches, lemon peal, dragon fruit, banana, minerals and white pepper.

Sweet on the palate with high acidity to balance all that sugar.

Delicious nose with nice complexity and very aromatic with white flowers. Smells like perfume.

Long finish with tangy lemons.

Well balanced and sweet. A great sweet dessert wine.
