2016 Shiraz. W/ fresh raspberry, sweet spice & dark chocolate aroma, layers of jammy red fruit, black fruit and dark chocolate woven together, followed by a hint of eucalyptus, spice and earthiness. Purchased at the winery about 4 or 5 years ago, we thought this was excellent - much better than some of the ratings we saw in the trade magazines. Intense but balanced, complex fruit with hints of eucalyptus that for me is a great trademark of wines from this region in Australia, this was really terrific. — 3 years ago

16 years young. This is aging beautifully with flavors of dark black and blue fruits mixed with a touch of black pepper. Resolved tannins, and a great smooth texture. Lovely, balanced and not showing signs of fading yet. — 6 years ago

Initial smell is very early. After about 7 minutes it seems to open to something more chocolate.
