Fantastic IIPA. Hoppy of couse. Background of smooth maltiness. Delicious. A couple two three bombers will make everything right as rain. — 11 years ago
Most excellent on a beautiful Chicago day. — 11 years ago

Awesome stout. Maybe the beer of the night on a night with many. — 11 years ago
Very hoppy but still refreshing. — 9 years ago
It's a very good fruity yet dry beer. But it's not as fruity as the German sitting in the tank. — 11 years ago
Holy crap. Great. I swear I'm not liking this beer so much, because of the label--though it is quite rad. Expressive nose that leads you to believe it will taste sour. It does. Sour enough, but not so sour that makes you gleek. Flavors of black currant, blueberry, and beer starts gaining complexity as it warms to room temp.
Tasting like Chinon, of all things. With notes of: Horse blanket, hay, blue and red berry fruit, a healthy dose of brettanomyces, along with a velvety mouthfeel, like Merlot and a tad creamy.
Gorgeous, rich purple color with a crema-like foam on top.
Smelling the empty glass: oak and tobacco. Wow. — 11 years ago

Thank you to my good friend Andy Bunch for bringing this beer to try tonight. A rare treat for sure. Took a while to open up, bit man, it’s hitting its stride a couple hours later with notes of semi sweet chocolate, espresso liquor, brownie batter, vanilla, toasted nuts and almond oil. A rich brew with a 15%+ ABV. Black as old motor oil and super mouth coating. Yum yum yum. — 8 years ago
