Margheria Barolo Nebbiolo 2006

Thanks aiding the cellar for the old European wines and found this. Bottle is showing well. Nicely refined tannins and good Barolo terroir. Fruit is beginning to show. Double decanted back into the bottle. Will be drinking over 24 hours. — 5 months ago

Langhe Riesling 2017

Hint of petroleum on nose, bright and high acid on the palate, citrusy lemon finish. Great for Massolino’s first vintage of Riesling!! — 2 years ago

Surprising! A Langhe Riesling.

A bright and bold red. A crisp choice for a rainy summer day with charcuterie and intriguing friends. — 24 days ago

Serralunga d'Alba Barbera d'Alba 2017

Mussolini’s 2017 Barbera is amazing. — 6 months ago

Barbera d'Alba 2018

Loads of tart cherries, some anise, black licorice... a good pairing for Margherita pizza or pasta with marinara sauce. The fruitiness stands up to tomato acid like a champ. — 9 months ago

Serralunga d'Alba Barolo Nebbiolo 2004

Had the 2004 today on 8 october 2020. Warm brownish colour. Softer tannins. Earthy, leathery, friendly accidity. Ripe dark cherries still there. Long lasting taste. Now great but not convinced it can take a few extra years. Happy to opened it. Drunk it from a Zalto bourgogne glass and a bordeaux. Bourgogne did the job. — 8 months ago
