Very dry. Long finish. Excellent. — 2 months ago
Fruit forward like eating lemon soufflé, but then tart finish. Easy drinking. — a month ago
The 2020 Montefalco Rosso is a dynamic blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Montepulciano and 15% Sagrantino. It opens with dusty rose, dried strawberries and worn-in leather. The palate is silky and supple, with ripe red and blue fruits, saline minerals and spice. Its acidity pops through the finale. $20.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, November 2023) — a month ago
Deep ruby hue. Notes of blackberry, olives, pepper, and tar. Full tannins and high acidity. Superb with meats. — a month ago
Another solid vintage of this Umbrian classic. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe black berry/cherry/currant fruit, rose petals, mushrooms, wet soil and asphalt. The palate shows the same intense black fruits with hints of baking spices, black licorice and tar. Long and lingering finish. Big and chewy tannins (quite grippy) and a very thick texture. This one needs some aeration. Not for the faint of heart. — 25 days ago
Still a bit in the young side. But with the salty food and a good decant and air it was very nice. — a month ago
Herbals and aromatic. Gorgeous golden color. Nice long finish. Would definitely get again! An intense wine. — 2 months ago

2007. I love Bea very much, so much so I drank both my cellars out of it. Been wanting to try this passito forever and tonight was the time. Awesome dessert wine with great balance of sweet, funk, and acid. — 15 days ago
