Le Graal des bières paraît-il. Coup de bol, j'ai pu en acheter deux sur Internet. Gros coup de chance car normalement elle n'est vendue qu'à l'abbaye où il faut faire une queue pas possible, donc j'en profite. Elle possède une belle robe marron, des arômes complexes de fruits, de caramel, quelques notes d'agrumes en cherchant bien. Un bien beau bouquet. Elle titre à 10.2 mais on ne sent pas trop le côté alcool exagéré. Ce n'est cela dit pas ma bière préférée mais elle vaut vraiment le détour, je conseille de la goûter au moins une fois, et je la trouve excellente tout de même. De plus on peut la garder 1 an ou 2 en cave. — 3 years ago

Great for the price, Whiskey Advocate # 1 this year for what its worth, heres the review they stated, the start of 2019, a Tennessee whiskey would have been considered a long shot to be named Whisky Advocate’s Whisky of the Year, but this Dickel came barreling from behind with the poise and power to impress our blind tasting panel. Its value is unmatched—serving up a full 13 years of barrel age at 50% ABV for just $36. Such bargains result because Tennessee whiskey lives in the shadow of bourbon, which can easily command three or four times the price at this age. Following Tennessee’s practice of charcoal-filtering the distillate before aging, this whiskey is soft around the edges yet delivers plenty of intensity. The mouthwatering peanut aromas evoke memories of cracking open a school lunchbox while the palate delivers abundant fruit: orange marmalade and caramel apple. Fine bitter-sweet balance suggests burnt sugar, Mexican chocolate, chocolate-covered almonds, and toffee. Indeed, sweet nuts, like French burnt peanuts, candied pralines, and marron glacé, seem to be the common thread here, lending this a consistent chord from initial nose through the drying, pleasantly spiced finish.

Visual: color teja con tonos de marron. Claro, concentracion liviana, sin defectos. Debe decantarse ( 20yr+)

Nariz: limpio, intensidad moderada, vinoso. Cereza y otras frutas rojas maduras. Torrefaccion, bosque, heno, balsamico.

Boca: Seco, acidez M+, taninos M+ pero sedosos y ya integrados, Alcohol M. Largo en boca pero se nota que esta past su prime.
