Smarazen Bianco dell’Emilia Trebbiano Romagnolo Malvasia di Candida

Clean refreshing and herbal with notes of chamomile and white peaches. The fizz level was great and the yeast left at the bottom was also good and floral. — 5 months ago

Porcellese Patrimonio Red Blend 2015

2015 vintage. As good as the 2014 was, this is a big step forward in sheer finesse and complexity. Beautiful Corsican Sangiovese, well worth seeking out. — 7 months ago

Le Rouge Mursaglia Vermentino 2016

@Delectable Wine this is a Nielluccio, not Vermentino. Thanks! Location; Barnaba near Piramide in Rome. Which has a great wines list of little gems like this for comparably great prices. — a month ago

Cantina di Torra Rouge

2016 vintage. Hors Série is 100 % Niellucciu (Corsican Sangiovese), sold as "Vin de France". Brilliant ruby. Seductive red fruit nose (cherries, berries and raspberry). Juicy bright red fruit with crisp acidity and a subtle tannic bite. Simply gorgeous and great value. The wines from this producer are hard to find, even in France, but well worth the search. — 5 months ago

Le Blanc Mursaglia Vermentino

2018 vintage. This is an amazing Vermentinu from this outstanding producer. Vines planted in 2009. Intensely perfumed with white peach, pineapple, fresh herbs (mint, thyme) and iodine. What you smell is what you get in the mouth: white peach and fresh herbs, intertwined with crispy acidity and a beautiful minty/salty/fruity lingering finish. Hard to find, even in France but worth the effort. Absolutely lovely. A producer to watch. Abv. 13,7%. — 4 months ago
