100 % Riesling from Mosel, Germany.
Steep slopes, slate soil and old vines makes great wine.
Lime, lemon, grapefruit and delicate white flowers on the nose.
White peach, apricot, lime/lemon and a hint of slate and minerals.
Juicy mid-palate with refreshing acidity though still off-dry.
This wine is 8.5 % alcohol and is a year round favourite especially with prawns marinated in spicy garlic chili sauce on the BBQ. — a month ago
Young and teeming with energy, Dr Loosen’s Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese from the magnificent 2019 vintage is a wine that balances natural sweetness with distinct minerality in graceful fashion. Balance is the word for this wine, really, with its medley of honeycomb, camomile, nectarine, bitter lemon and coconut on the nose and orange marmalade sweetness through the palate. This is showing great promise for a young Spätlese, already quite showy, with obvious ageing potential. This was a one off - not a wine I own by the case - so I’ll look out for more. — 2 months ago

Purchased from Dan Murphy’s for $16 and a real crowd favourite. Very yummy and would definitely buy it again.
Pink diamond shade in the glass with notes of strawberry, grapefruit and some kind of herb, maybe coriander, on the nose. It’s super smooth and easy drinking with hints of watermelon 🍉 and nectarine 🍑 on the palate. Light and bright 🥰
