Wonderful high elevation Pinot. Light ruby in color. Aromas of wild red berries and brambly herbs. More strawberry on the palate with additional notes of black tea, those ever present fresh herbs and a nice mineral touch on the finish. Medium bodied and bright. Beautiful velvety structure. Good stuff. Thank you for sharing, Ron B! — 7 months ago
Ruby with aromas of fresh crushed red berry fruits, floral and slight spicy notes. On the palate black cherry and blackberry flavors, well balanced with acidity and fine soft tannins. The finish is long, ending with fruit, cedar and mocha notes. Nice, will age well. — 3 years ago
100% Valle d’Aosta Syrah. Bright ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of cherry, bramble berries, black pepper, baking spices and black licorice. Bright and complex. Relatively soft texture and tannin for a Syrah but the high elevation vineyards should explain that. Kind of “Syrah-lite,” but in a good way. Handles a bit of a chill. Good red choice in the Summer months. Thank you for sharing, Ron B! — 7 months ago

A bit of a different profile from prior vintages. Much more plush, juicy and fruit forward. (Warmer/riper vintage?) Ruby red color with a purple rim. More fruit forward aromas and flavors of dark cherry, black raspberry, vanilla, fresh herbs, tobacco, graphite and a slight hint of pine needles. Touch of black licorice on the long and lingering finish. Soft tannins. Very deep and complex. Consistently great mountain red. — 7 months ago
