Kendall Jackson Chardonnay

Stonestreet Estate Vineyards

Chardonnay 2014

‘14 aged well! In the autumn of 1989, Jess Jackson acquired the Zellerbach winery and renamed it in honor of his late father, Jess Stonestreet Jackson. From higher elevation vineyards, medium lemon color with stone fruit aromas & floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear, a tad buttery with layered spice, vivid acidity supporting the French oak aging. Medium+ finish ending with citrus mineral character. Very nice, drink now! — 11 days ago

Jackson Estate Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2016

Really liking this deep, smoky, and vibrant pinot with a bit of bottle age. KJ Estates juice can be a tremendous value, and this bottle is that. Long finish. Blow off the initial heat and enjoy… — a month ago

Jackson Estate Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay 2018

Color of bubbly saturated gold. Nose is full of ripe tropical fruits, like pineapple, mangos, and banana, plus some nutty note and mineral. Nose is full. Taste is following the nose yet lighter, with addition of some more flowering note. Almost dry and a bit warm from nutty note. Aftertaste shows some more mineral and a bit more sweet. On par. — 3 months ago
