light, well made Pinot. fruit is forward, a bit of cotton candy sweet followed by blueberry and vanilla. cinnamon and clove lead to a clean finish. for$12 a nice find. — 20 days ago
Lovely nose, a prelude to the cherry and cranberry fruit that sits just a touch back. Tannins provide some depth and pleasant mineralization. — 2 months ago
Nice nose that is a kind of musky rounded cherry. Fruit is a step back on this one, coming in later just before a bit of clove and nutmeg. Maybe a touch of vanilla. No wrong notes and a nice experience for the price. Went well with salmon and asparagus. — 4 months ago
Always a treat to see a Mourvedre. This is very rich, lots of dark plum and raisin. Later on the cocoa and leather. A particularly nice nose, fragrant and almost like a port. for the price this is delightful.

Fine Washington cab. Nice balance of fruit and tannins. Could sit a little longer. — 2 months ago
i found this to be an unusually complex chardonnay. Not particularly fruit forward, pear and light citrus. Much more pronounced is the vanilla and caramel towards the back which bit of herb right at the end. I liked this wine, especially at a $13 price point.

Solid budget Chardonnay, the title is justified by the flavor profile. Fruit is light, pear and citrus notes. More prominent is the vanilla, caramel and yes buttery finish. If you are looking for an antidote to the butter-free version of this varietal, this may be it. — 3 months ago
Nice hearty Merlot, significantly more grit than most Napa merlot. Lots of cherry and raspberry up front with spice and vanilla in the nose. A bit of earthy tannin in the back. Good with chocolate or something with a bit of spice.
