Rangen de Thann Harmonie 'R' Grand Cru 2012

Like all previous bottles drunk in US, the wine is reductive to start and freshens up in the glass. However, US bottles seem more advanced than bottle enjoyed a year ago in Ammerschwihr. Still a delicious bottle throughout a meal. — 4 years ago

Kaefferkopf Alsace Grand Cru Riesling 2013

100% Riesling from different plots on granite soils at the top the Kaefferkopf Grand Cru, on the south-east facing slopes above Ammerschwihr, between Kaysersberg and Niedermorshwihr, northwest of Colmar (They also make a blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris from this grand cru, one of the only two grand crus is Alsace which allow blends of different varieties). Elegant, great complexity at 10 years old — 5 months ago

Wineck-Schlossberg Grand Cru Riesling 2019

Domaine Jean-Marc Bernhard Alsace Grand Cru Riesling ‘Wineck-Schlossberg’ 2019: Light-bodied. Vibrant acidity. Refreshing taste. Classic Riesling nose with palate flavors of apple, apricot, lemon & minerals. Lovely off-dry finish. All in all, a clean & bright Alsace Riesling; very pleasant, very versatile, good value. Happy Saturday to all! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago
