Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 6 months ago
Buttery and delicious! Baked apple spices. — 9 months ago

Mint and pear on the nose. Upfront there’s a really interesting impression of cotton candy or bubblegum. Then I get a mild apple cider vinegar and tart pear note. Finishes with a strong lemon oil linger. Aged pretty nicely, only a hint of ferment that I actually kind of linked! — 6 years ago
The BEST value in NY Rose on the market. Delicious and super affordable. Bright, light, and refreshing. — 7 years ago
Very interesting blend, easy to sip, best little chilled — 9 days ago
Probably about at the end of this 2009 unless you super carefully store it. But it's very interesting, Dark toffee, caramel, kind of Madeira type notes. — 4 months ago

At Mark Paul NYD Party old Cab series. Continuing with old Cab series. Equally surprising as the McDowell but a totally different profile, with more oxidative notes as expected for such an age and with rounder texture and shorter finish — 7 months ago
Tasting older. Lots of earl grey tea, dried cherry, potpourri, some cedar, plums. — 9 months ago

Wonderful earthy perfume of red fruits, rose petals, mushroom, decayed plant matter, sous bois. Aromas that you go back to time and time again - intoxicating. Medium bodied palate with resolved Tannins, M minus acid and M plus length. Really should not have a Bass Phillip Premium under 10 years of age. 2009 was a good year for BP so Phillip Jones said at the time, but they would have had vintages since which equal or slightly better this. One of Australia’s best Pinot Noirs. — 7 years ago

Decant for sediment(minimal sediment)and pour. A majestic still dark magenta with some bricking. On the nose: beautiful notes of dark fruit, pencil shavings, menthol, potting soil, floral, grilled meat. Taste: silky wine with blackberry/dark cherry, black tea, cinnamon, minerals, licorice, graphite and a dry, astringent, spiced espresso medium plus finish with a touch of heat. Finish is not working for me, but see how it evolves as the night goes. — 14 days ago
