McCarthy & Schiering, $11
Bursting with tropical flavors, lots of pineapple and guava, almost reminds me of POG juice. Balanced with a crisp acidity and very easy to drink. Amazing for the price, I immediately went back and grabbed 2 more bottles — 4 months ago
Deep brassy gold color. Nose has loads of yellow fruits and stony minerals (It’s a blend of 40% Antao Vaz, 30% Arinto, and 20% Alvariho grapes). Meadow flowers and a teensy bit of toastiness. In the mouth it’s ripe and deeply flavored, the fruit very low-toned. Tons of stony minerals. The texture is soft and broad. Acids are low-ish. Nice, lengthy finish. I don’t think this will age, but it’s really nice now. — a month ago
Looooads of dry fruit. Kinda heavy, exactly the style I like. Maybe a bit too bald.

Dry. Flavors of blueberry compote, vanilla, licorice, baked blackberry, hint of floral. Rich, chewy tannins. Great acidity. Rich and flavorful!
