Havens Wine Cellars

Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity.

Fruity nose and palate with lots of coffee notes.

Showing black fruits with oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, vanilla, cola, coffee, tobacco and peppercorn.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself.

Would be interesting to try it again in 3 years.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$40.

Carneros Merlot 2003

2003 Carneros Merlot. WOW. Can’t remember the last time I had a bottle this good. We were saving it for a special occasion and it had aged beautifully. Deep, velvety fruit. Incredibly smooth and balanced. — 5 years ago

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2016

Abundant flowers on the nose. Mouth feel is chocolate covered cherries but not for long. The finish becomes flowers again with very light grass and teaberry. Good stuff. — 4 years ago
