A bit of a different profile from prior vintages. Much more plush, juicy and fruit forward. (Warmer/riper vintage?) Ruby red color with a purple rim. More fruit forward aromas and flavors of dark cherry, black raspberry, vanilla, fresh herbs, tobacco, graphite and a slight hint of pine needles. Touch of black licorice on the long and lingering finish. Soft tannins. Very deep and complex. Consistently great mountain red. — a year ago

This red blend from Valle d'Aosta was remarkably smooth and light on its feet considering it's 14% ABV. Notes of red fruit on the nose and berry jam on the palate. Very enjoyable! A blend of Petite Rouge, Cornalin, Mayolet, and Fumin. 6/14/23. — a year ago
