This wine has a deep ruby hue with fuchsia rim variation. Some extraction and noticeable tearing.
Nose 👃 offers black cherry, raspberry, and blackberry jam, licorice, nutmeg, white pepper, pencil shavings, graphite, cedar, wet moss, earth, and green bell pepper.
Palate 👄 is balanced and consistent with the nose but perhaps more powerful cedar notes. Medium acidity, medium+ tannins that are smooth and velveteen. Full bodied. Strong finish.

2018. Popped and poured to have with Indian spiced chicken breast/fragrant basmati rice. The initial aromas reminded me of Jura/pale sherry and it paired great. After dinner, the wine opened up and gained viscosity and I wish I had more! — 2 days ago
