Stones and rocks on the nose to accompany ripe apple, pastry cream.

Violet, blackberry, licorice, and cedar. Lighter than I expected given how dark it is. — 4 months ago
Single vineyard "Les Belles Voyes" in the famous Grand Cru hillside of Oger. Pale lemon with fine creamy mousse and tiny rapid bubble flow, long lees aging. aromas stone fruits and blossom, bread dough and citrus. On the palate flavors of golden apple, peach, lemon citrus and honeysuckle with biscuit toast and nutty notes. Long finish, full-body ending with biscuit, mineral and citrus character. Outstanding! — 5 years ago

Textbook Pouilly-Fume. Nose has equal proportions flinty minerality and ripe gooseberry fruit verging into orchard fruit. Zero cat pee or overly green herbal notes. Crisp in the mouth, with nice weight and balance. Some fruit up front transitions into full mineral mode by the end. Would be dynamite with grilled shrimp, but I’ll happily settle for simple sipping before dinner. Since @Delectable Wine isn’t doing locations anymore, I’ll just make believe I’m drinking this in France. — 14 days ago
