The 2019 Cuvée Edmond is an outstanding Sancerre, but it has a price tag to match. It is already drinking beautifully with its ripe apple, white stone fruit and subtle savory characters enveloped within its succulent, round and concentrated core. The conclusion is a delight with a chalky coating covering the entire mouth and a fine line of tension weaving the wine together. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2022)

Incredibly ripe and bright fruit on the nose. Then you get the traditional pepper and tannin from Syrah from the first sip.
We might’ve gotten 1 hour decant before drinking. Could’ve used more. By the final sips, it was clearly opening up and showing more fruit that was from the nose.
Overall. Very good wine. — 4 months ago
Popped and poured from magnum; no formal notes. The Barnaut Grand Réserve NV pours a bright golden color with notes of lemon tart, yellow raspberries, brioche, meringue, tarragon, cashews, yellow flowers and notes of honey as it warms. On the palate, medium acid, rich with chalky minerals. A really quite lovely grower/producer NV made with 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay. No disgorgement data available. — 5 months ago
