Mostly scarlet in color, translucent and regal. Deep nose. Notes of black cherry, blueberries, dried cranberries, some cool slate stone and some pepper. Rich and long in the mouth. Tannins fully resolved and integrated. Really nice for the vintage. In a great drinking window. — 7 days ago
This is a simple but very tasty, sparkling wine from France.
Showing citrus, lemons, apples, pears, light tropical fruits, honey and light minerals.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Refreshing with small bubbles.
Dry to off dry on the palate and fruit forward.
Nicely balanced and easy drinking.
Good by itself and a good Sunday sparkle.
11.5% alcohol by volume.

Bio-Fleurie. Meget kompleks vin. Bibeholder de sædvanlige kendetegn fra Gamay, men betydeligt mere “funky” — 23 days ago
Actually the red Hermitage 1990. In magnum and the wine of the night among a great lineup. — 2 months ago
Slightly effervescent to start, opened up with a quick decant. Bright and acidic, nice pair with dim sum and the duck. — a day ago
Asked for a recommendation to replace the Louis Latour Pouilly that was out of stock at Total wines and was recommended this. A bit more $, but did enjoy the crisp minerality — a month ago
