The greenness of the vintage shows through but it was still enjoyable—maybe slightly past peak. — 18 days ago
Sharp, concentrated, taut. Reduced slightly in the beginning but unfurls slowly with notes of Meyer lemon, chalk, unripe pineapple, acacia, orange blossom and a hint of smoke. Fantastic effort, promises slightly more rounded notes as the oak integrates with time. — a month ago
Faintly herbal — 2 months ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of dark cherries and a hint of t of cinnamon. Very dense in the mouth with velvety tannins and good balance. Modern styled and extracted but no excess, really good bottle. We had some before, consistent quality. — a month ago
Struck match, slate and caramel aromas. The oak starts the show with a big lick of caramel and wood spice, then the middle and end become very linear. Citrus, wet stone, and grassy notes. Lots going on here. Would be even better in 5 years. For $65, good p/q burg. — 2 months ago
A very decent burger for the price. Dark, almost dark ruby. Brooding and savoury. Dark and blue fruit, wood spice, chocolate and a touch of mushroom funk. Simple and a bit short but good flavour profile. — 4 days ago
