Malvasia Lipari 60%, carricante 40%. Light yellow, med+ aromas of citrus, salt, peach, med+ acidity and intense flavors of lemon, peach & apple. Can’t say long finish but the lingering acidic cut balanced by its fruitiness is outstanding. Buy more. — 3 years ago

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark berries. Leather. Some plum. On the palate, full bodied. Dark berry, plum, spice, anise, vanilla, some chocolate. Longer finish. Lush mouthfeel. Very surprising wine at a lower dollar purchase. Great value table wine. Pretty balanced on the palate with still a hint of tannins present. — a year ago
Paired well with both spicy and classic Italian red sauce dishes. Lower acidity than most Italian reds, with red fruit and forest floor notes. — 2 months ago
