Les Enfants Terribles Mendocino Cuvée Zinfandel 2017

Bought at winery today. Needed an hour to open. Nose and palate very similar. Bramble of berries, cherry juice, a bunch of spices from baking to savory herbs, a bit of tree bark or some other wood but not oak. What a great producer of CA zin with different styles under 1 roof. Should drink more from them when in the mood for zin. — 3 years ago

Tart cranberry on the nose. So wonderful on the palate; ever so slightly acidic. Wow — 2 years ago

Les Enfants Terribles Dry Creek Valley Grenache 2017

Lighter bodied, juicy Grenache from Clarksburg. Fruit forward pomegranate jam, and strawberry without being over the top fruity. Great with a chill. Pair with chicken teriyaki or lamb schwarma. — 3 years ago

Todd Brothers Ranch Old Vines Zinfandel 2018

2018 much more minerality on the nose! Not what Zin reminds you of. Red cherries blackberry black pepper spices licorice medium acidity long spicy finish moderate body dark. notes from visit to the winery.

Alexander Valley. Bright red volcanic soils, steep rocky slopes and western exposure.
