2018 vintage. Côtes de Jura Chardonnay "De Marne et d'Argile" by Eric and Bérengère Thill. Light golden colour. Intense perfume of apricots and walnuts, somewhere in between the "ouillé" and "non-ouillé" styles ( I will ask for more technical information).. This might leave many tasters puzzled, but I find it delicious, intense and characterful with great length. Eric Thill uses only indigenous yeasts and this wine was aged for 16 months in stainless steel. Terrific value for a gastronomic wine with a unique personality. — 25 days ago
Blend of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah & Mourvedre, deep Ruby with aromas black fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with notes of cacao, spice and earthy notes. Medium+ finish, fine tannins, great mouthfeel (15.2 ABV), ending with fruit and earthy spice, nice! — 21 days ago

Been waiting for years to get back to London and bring this home as it’s only available at Berry Bros. & Rudd as far as I know. Remarkable mineral and acidic cut for a southern French white, like a Loire chenin but with a bit more heft and roundness. Green mango, bitter grapefruit, honey, pear, smoke and spice on the finish. Worth checking a bag for! — 14 days ago
