Château Rocher Bellevue

Côtes de Castillon Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

2017 vintage. The Côtes de Bordeaux is a fantastic playground for value seekers and this Castillon is no exception. To be honest I feel sorry for owner Patricia Aroldi that she has to sell a biodynamical wine of this quality at such a low price (4,95 euro consumer price, I kid you not!). A blend of 86% merlot and 14% cabernet franc. Bright red fruit and flowers in the nose. Good fruit concentration and ripe tannin structure with vibrant acidity and more than decent length. Very easy to drink now, but this should age well for a few years. Highly recommended. Abv. 13%. Vignobles Gabriel & co. — a month ago

I agree Stefan, wrong distribution channel 🤨

It just shows that it is not that easy to sell lesser known Bordeaux regions. And contrary to the image, Bordeaux produces some of the greatest values in the world.

It must be frustrating if you want to invest in making quality wine that there are price barriers linked to the place/region

Willamette Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Spectacular! Likr velvet on the tongue, smooth, no alcohol taste, which I hate. Violets and roses Served at Thanksgiving dinner, the wine and my creamed onions were the highlight of a pretty good dinner! Can't believe this is such a young wine, how could it be improved — 4 days ago

Balcombe Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2017

First thanksgiving dinner cooked and enjoyed on our own at home. 2020. Delicious wine to accompany a delicious meal. Had this same wine two years ago and enjoyed it more today. Would buy again but would hold for a bit. — 4 days ago
