Pour Ma Gueule Assemblage Itata Red Blend 2019

Bright, acidic, bubbly, light red! — 8 days ago

Clos Saint Jean

Deus Ex Machina Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2009

More evolved than the Combe des Fous 09, this needed a bit of air to offload some of its riper notes. A bold, large scale Chateauneuf. — 6 months ago

Subsollum Bio Bio Coast Pinot Noir 2017

This was delicious. Cherry, vanilla, that favorite Pinot taste that I haven’t learned the name of yet. From the Denver Wine Merchants. Had with Lauren and Ilana at stitch & bitch. Def will buy again. — 5 months ago

Les Fous du Roi Sàrl

Le Vin Orange Lavaux Pinot Gris 2019

Usually not focused on this type of wine, it was a very pleasant tasting. Fresh and tangy attack on currant notes; the body is delicate and complex with extraction that brings relief. The finish is more than honorable on infused, hay, dried herbs notes. Balanced, really well done. 🇨🇭

La Combe des Fous Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2009

Gorgeous Chateauneuf du Pape. Aged beautifully, with still plenty of freshness and primary aromatics, but more refined than upon release. — 6 months ago

Jean-Claude Lapalu

Cuvée de Fous Brouilly Gamay 2017

Going on 5 yrs, thought I’d give this unusual Cru Bojo from Brouilly a try. It’s singularity is first hinted at with a 14.5% abv; it also needs air & time to really come together; finally, it has some serious tannins. Like arid desert dry tannins, or something that one would get in only a Southern French red— like Madiran ( Tannat) or Cot (Malbec). At end of day, needed a good decant or another 3/4 yrs. — 9 months ago
