Château La Grange Clinet

Grange Bin 95 Shiraz 2004

Nice balance and grip. It seemed a bit more muted but had undeniable weight and substance. Excellent pairing with pepper crusted filet mignon. Cork completely fell apart on me but the wine survived! — 9 days ago

Domaine La Grange Tiphaine

Clef de Sol Montlouis-sur-Loire Chenin Blanc 2006

Deep golden color and notes of oxidation on an otherwise complex ripened fruits and earth profile carrying through to surprisingly balanced but still acidic palate. Great with Leila’s garlic paprika buttery lemony shrimp. On the downslope from past glory drank perhaps decade ago. Last of two GL20. — 24 days ago

Max's Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2015

Named after Grange creator, Max Schubert. Adelaide Hills developing as a premium region for Chardonnay. A modern nose of funky solids and nougat. Not a blockbuster on the palate but quite restrained and elegant with grapefruit and mineral notes. Someone like Penfolds cannot afford to make an average wine and this is anything but average. Great QPR for only $35. — 2 days ago

Grange Hermitage Bin 95 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 1982

Alex Lallos

Absolutely stunning. Consumed on the eve of my 39th birthday. (I am an 82 and my birth year wines are becoming increasing hard to find. This one was purchased as a complete OWC from a private cellar and perfectly stored.)

This bottle was so fresh and immaculately stored. The cork came out beautifully. Dark dark color still. Right off the bat the nose screams PENFOLDS GRANGE with eucalyptus, tar, smoked meats and abundant DARK fruit. A gorgeous wine with years and years left ahead of it.

Tasted alongside 1982 Chateau Margaux from the cellar and we all found the 1982 Grange to be the superior wine. It left my mouth watering. Absolutely beautiful and one of the top two or three wines I’ve ever tasted of not the best

@David T hahah that $69 price tag was on the bottle when it was released in 1984/1985 making it about $19 more than the margaux at that time. I purchased a private cellar and these bottles hadn’t moved since they were purchased on release. Special stuff

La Grange aux Belles

53 Anjou Cabernet Franc 2019

Beautiful concentrated expression of Cabernet-Francs. Natural wine, without input, not filtered. Deep purple dress. Open nose. A round, fresh mouth that honours the fruit with marked floral notes. Allow to aerate one hour before serving.

Belle expression très concentrée du Cabernet-Francs. Vin nature, sans intrant, non filtré. Robe pourpre profonde. Nez ouvert. Bouche ronde et fraîche mettant le fruit à l’honneur avec des notes florales marquées. Laisser aérer une heure avant de servir.
