Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Voluminous, mellow, understated.

Wanted to have with Centro pizza but the power went out 🤷🏻‍♂️

An elegant and restrained Clinet, not as brooding as more recent vintages. Maybe it is their youth but this is indeed a mellower version. Though make no mistake on the complexity, the volume is just a little lower right now. I was a little disappointed, still enjoyable, but if you don't have a deep stock I'd wait another 2 years or more for maturity to add tertiary layers to the mix.
Currants, cassis, some cherry and blackberry in in a fresh style, with the classic silk-like Pomerol tannin. #clinet #pomerol #bordeaux #merlot

08’s are drinking well. This just needed some air showing mostly black fruit, graphite, spice, leather & sweet tobacco.

Christmas dinner Bordeaux in all its elements. Extremely nice and years left to enjoy!
