Ripe dark berries, smoke, tobacco. Full-bodied, amazingly rich and warm. — 23 days ago
Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby color with a bright red rim. Aromas of ripe red fruit, new oak, smoke and a hint of mint. More dark fruit on the palate with hints of grilled toast, tobacco, dark chocolate and baking spices. Quite earthy/stony on the extremely long finish. Nicely layered and well balanced. Very fresh for 15 years. Enough tertiary funk to play well on the table. A fun cellar release from KLWM — 2 months ago
Minerals on the nose. Acid and full with a cherry finish. Not as funky or intense as his others, just really nice classic Beaujolais. — 7 months ago
2005 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 15 mins, 45 mins and 2 hrs. Throwing decent sed. Great color. Overt baby fat from this producer dissipated but plenty of the usual, front-palate richness found in the first decade of life still evident. In “the zone” currently. Medium bodied. Not improving but tasting like it’s closer to the front of “the zone”than the mid-section or the caboose. Flavors, concentration and overall impression sez this continues to gallop along in this lane and at this pace for another decade before fading noticeably. 11.5.23. — a month ago
CW 19. A little tight the first night. The second night it is fruit forward with decent complexity and tannins. — a month ago

Enough age to bring the fruit intensity down a notch, & man that’s some good fruit- emphasis on the cassis & blackberries. Usually not a mega fan of Bordeaux, but this fit the bill for a shared bottle with friends, drink outside on the banks of the Hudson. — a month ago
