Campo del Drago Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of ripe dark berry fruits and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of juicy cherry and raspberry with cacao, cedar spice and gentle pepper spice. Fine tannins, great balance, complex long finish ending with earthy herbs, fruit and oaky notes. Nice! — 8 days ago

Ignios Orígenes Baboso Negro 2017

This is a very unique and interesting wine. So hard to truly rate. Funky aromas of wet rocks and forest floor. Cherry, volcanic rock, and earthy notes. Opened for 30 minutes prior to drinking and this evolved immensely. No rush to drink and definitely recommend decanting or just opening for awhile before drinking. — 14 days ago

Campo de Borja Garnacha 2011

2011. Went to a wine party at our friends and we brought this wine from the cellar to pair with the pork belly “burnt ends” our host was making... the burnt ends turned out to be fantastic, and this vintage, which seemed to be a little less “huge” than the 16% abv would suggest, paired great! — a month ago

Rioja Tempranillo

Fruity, a small bit if spice, easy going. Nothing huge in character, but blends well with spicy food — 15 days ago
