Campi Di Fonterenza

Antonio Vallana e Figlio

Campi Raudii Piemonte Nebbiolo 2013

Sweet core of cherry jolly ranchers enveloped in delicate perfume & tannins. Tar, acid, florals. Quenching finish. A true gourmand wine. Superb, and an incredible value. — a month ago

Yes. Though some old timers have told me the new generation of Vallanas can’t match the Vallanas of old..@Andrew Schirmer

Bicento Campi Taurasini Aglianico 2013

This is a full-bodied & concentrated 100% Aglianico from Campania, Italy. The vineyards are understood to be 200-years old in Campi Taurasini, hence the name of the wine ‘Bicento’ (twice hundred). This makes them the oldest in Europe. The wine is robust, intense, pitch dark with firm, dusty tannins. The finish is very good, with dark berry, black plum, licorice, & spice flavours — 5 months ago

Eremo San Quirico Irpinia Campi Taurasini DOC Aglianico

Quite similar to the Bicento, where this Eremo is also made from 200-years old vines, and the wine being robust, intense, and pitch dark. The striking difference is however the richness of the fruit and the smoothness. Very pleasant indeed! — 5 months ago
