@jason carey DipWSET yeah. I’ve not had the best experiences from paso wine. Starting to appreciate a bit more though.
I mean in general I agree but it think it's more the lagging Parker influence there than the terror. I've had some wonderful ones over the years including Ridge
@jason carey DipWSET yeah, I think you’re prob correct there. I’ve even had clunky ridge wines from there too. Honestly, even this one changed my mind second day. Will keep trying.

Kissin' Cousins White Rhone Blend 2020
Aromatic nose of ripe peach, Asian pear, ripe star fruits, honeysuckle, dried chrysanthemum. More stone fruits on the palate that’s lightly spiced. The medium body is nicely textured but not too viscous. Round fresh acidity.

Why does all paso wine taste blown out to me? K mind changed. Day 2: nice red and darker fruit. Acid. Fruity nose in a good way. French oak most likely. Just a touch jammy. Very nice! I like to have my opinion switched. — 2 months ago
