Vibrant red fruits, cloves and brambly vines. Cherries, raspberry and baking spices. Long finish with firm tannins. Reminiscent of an Aussie blend. — 7 years ago
Rockgarden Estate, 68/32 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre. Salmon pink with an orange tinge. Strawberry note in nose, raspberry flavor that fades followed by a slight green melon (honeydew) and strawberry flavor with length, moderate skin astringency with a mineral finish. More savory and structured than many will be used to. For me, though, this is a special, very dry and not-fruit-forward rosé (though that subtle strawberry and honeydew flavor lingers). Good fermentation character without super high acidity, and delicious. — 3 years ago

Superb nose with waxy pear and gala apple fruit that is accented by a hint of honey. The wine has dynamite texture with richness that is checked by bright acidity. Finishes with pear and orange peel fruit tones with real length. — 6 years ago
Wow. Lots of fruit still on this vintage. Very impressive. I would drink soon if you still have it. — 7 years ago
Nicely structured and balanced and a lot lighter than most Syrahs. Nonetheless, I like it for what it is. — 7 years ago
Flavors of Apple & Pear. Luscious!

75/20/5 MGS blend. Purple-red, moderately extracted pigment, very good clarity. Black currant, strawberry, menthol and funk notes in nose. Cherry skin with strawberry jam and raspberry jam flavors, saline minerality and seed tannin finish with cranberry, black olive and menthol flavors, moderate skin astringency in aftertaste. Needs time to open. This is something special, worth savoring over several hours — 3 years ago
