Bodegas Juan Gil

Jumilla Red Blend 2019

Dark ruby color. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Monastrell (45%) and Syrah (10%). Bright and ripe red fruit (currant, cherry, raspberry) aromas and flavors. Spicy long finish. Oak is noticeable but not overwhelming. Earthy texture. Tannins are there but not overpowering. Great Producer and QPR. — 14 days ago

El Nido Jumilla Cabernet Sauvignon Monastrell 2002

Still a baby. Popped and poured. Tons of oak. Could have been a young Silver Oak Napa. Fleshed out after 30-45 minutes. — a month ago

Chopo

Jumilla Monastrell

Earthy and layered. Smells of black berry jam. Medium bodied. Short spice finish. Stands up to any hardy meals. And strong cheeses. Would buy again. — 13 days ago

Juan Gil Jumilla Mourvedre 2019

Jumilla keeps impressing me. This region is one of the best value for money in all of Europe atm. This one displayes ripe berries, spice, citrus and gravel. A touch of French wood to give it a a nice final touch. — 2 months ago

This Spanish Monastrell is always enjoyable.

Dry on the palate and fruit forward.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Showing black cherries, sweet plums, tobacco, oak, chocolates, earth, herbs and peppercorn.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins, and tangy raspberries.

Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Easy drinking and good for parties.

Good right out of the bottle and better after an hour of airtime.

Organic and vegan.

15% alcohol by volume.

89 points.
