Wow then and wow ‘now’….this 2014 build is a testiment to this rarely planted varietal in the cooler northern corner of the state. This extended barrel aged, cooler vintage had plenty of acid/phenolics at 7.5 years old. Plenty of dried violets and sage to frame and seasoned black cherry attack. Absolutely wonderful with bratwurst and sautéed peppers and onions! I hope to get 2017 Reserve next trip up. Sturdy and medium/full weighted, time has mellowed and harmonized acid/tannins to taste terroir completely :) — 12 days ago
Good malbec. Probably needed 1.5+ to decant. — 2 days ago
I really like this rosé. Dry and easy. Linda Nicholson liked it. Recommended by Austin at Wine and cheese merchant — 8 days ago
2017 very surprised excellent for a local wine!!! Technique of skins, oak and tank makes it the perfect combination. Not too oakey or unoaked just right! Hope I can find this vintage. — 11 days ago
Easy on the wallet, and the taste buds.
A solid Rhone here, with a nose of lilacs and violets.
Lighter body than you may be used to, cassis, boysenberry pie. A touch if heat and a lot of tannin will round this one out.
In my opine for a lot of whine, needs 5 years before drinking for full enjoyment.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day!

Yesterday for the 4th of July we opened the 2019 Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon. From Napa, California Napa Valley.
On the nose there was black cherry, blackberry, plum sauce, black currant, spice, graphite and earth.
On the palate there is a black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, chocolate, spice, green bell pepper, toasty oak and earth.
This is a full bodied wine with a smooth mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium + grippy tannins that leaves you with a long dark fruit graphite finish. I hope everyone had a blessed 4th of July enjoying family and friends. Please have a wonderful week ahead and stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — a month ago
