Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
Beautiful nose of blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, light licorice, earth, chocolates, tobacco leaf, light must, peppercorn, raisins, herbs, dried figs and light alcohol.
Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, earth, herbs and licorice.
Spicy long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 14 year old Amarone is still delicious, with a beautiful color and a great nose. Tangy and very spicy.
Elegant and fruit forward. Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle.
Will not last much longer, so drink up if you have one.

Blend of Corvina 65%, Rondinella 25%, Corvinone 5% & Negrara 5% with 90 days of appassimento, then aged in oak for about 20 months. Dark red with aromas of black and red fruits with sweet spice, for this warm 2015 vintage. On the palate sweet cherry, blackberry and dried currant flavors, with cacao and tobacco notes and baking spices. Soft smooth tannins well balanced with acidity on a long finish ending with slight earthy tones. Nice! Great sipping wine! Good with food! — a month ago
