Can’t recall why I ever stopped buying this, as it’s amazing!! Another example of fellow Americans drinking their wines too young.
Medium gold color. One of the best Chard noses ever! Reminds me of high end white burgundies! Wine is well balanced between butter and citrus. Could use more depth and a longer finish, but awesome on a lovely Memorial Day!! — 16 days ago
Tasted blind. Reddish amber tawny, translucent. Corky nose. Notes of light red fruit, cherry, herbs. Ethereal in it's delivery and still chewy. Very refined. The light cork taint makes it difficult to guess and the team's guesses are all over the planet (I'm in Bordeaux land). There is some good stuff inside this but cork taint comes on more with air... bummer. (M's 60th bday 3rd of 14) — 24 days ago
Very good. — 4 days ago
I enjoyed this one. Not very oaky taste, very good chilled. I could drink plenty more of it. — 5 hours ago
First impression: the bottle is heavy! Probably the heaviest bottle from a US producer I have gotten a hand on. Good thing that what’s inside the bottle has the substance to back up the bottle weight.
The nose is relatively restrained with perfectly ripen plum, cassis, cedar, olive, cigar box, and touch of forest floor. The palate is more opulent than the nose suggested, with rich ripe black fruit core. Very good texture. Silky tannins. — 14 days ago
