When I’m not drinking a Napa Cab, I reach for a Jordon. Blend of 80% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot & 2% Malbec, aged 13 months in 100% French oak (35% new). Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruit, floral and an array of herb spices. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and fig with oak, vanilla spice, leather and cacao notes. Rich fine tannins, well balanced and integrated with fruit and oak. Very Nice! Will age well. Just had this with a fillet mignon, Nice! — 2 months ago
Had dinner with a friend at Bruno’s in Brea and she brought this bottle of nicely aged wine from her late husband’s collection. Really enjoyed, no point in waiting any longer to consume. — 6 days ago
Blueberry, cocoa nib, and graphite. Dark and bold with strong tannins that could maybe still use time to soften. — a month ago
Incredible structure, full bodied deliciousness — 4 days ago
Perfect buttery but balanced Chardonnay. Just everything there should be in a top quality Chardonnay. — 14 days ago
N: dense elegant blueberries. Integrated vegetal. Airy. Floral.
P: amazingly sweet and balanced blackberry fruit. So delicious. — a month ago
Enjoyed another bottle more in 2022, maybe not aging well in the closet ($37), but still very nice with Pat’s grilled steak. Dense, full bodied and a bit of sediment. — 2 months ago

Like a lot of the older SO this Alexander Valley didn’t last long. Opened to lots of bright fruits but died quickly. — 17 days ago
