Adega Das Passarinhas

Sendero das Meigas

Monterrei Godello 2033

Very nice, had with curry but would suit pasta or fish. Soft and light with nice flavours, subtle but not bland — 4 months ago

Quinta das Arcas

Conde Villar Alvarinho 2019

Once again this is vinho Verde at its very best. Pear, cantaloupe, chalk. There's that mineral thing on the nose that tells you it's going to be great 😊 the palate is very well made with a great acid backbone, a good width and mouthfeel, some pear and slightly lemony notes, before a long and fresh finish that goes on for a while. Why is everyone overlooking Vinho Verde? — 7 months ago

Monte da Ravasqueira

Vinha das Romãs Alentejano Syrah Blend 2021

This wine is an example that price has nothing to do with quality. Lots of fruity sweetness balanced with acidity, and with vanilla and tobacco. — 6 months ago

Quinta das Carvalhas

10 Years Tawny Porto

Beautiful smelling and tasting. Good amounts of leather polish, caramel, blackberries, and dried fruit. There is a bit of nail polish in getting that is slightly off-putting. Finishes hot and spicy with vanilla and cinnamon. — 7 months ago

Quinta das Carvalhas

Douro Red Blend 2018

This wine is a total bargain. Great stuff for the price! Was told there is something like 42 different varietals in this, which is hard to believe… ah well, here we go:

Smells of dried fruits, vanilla, and baking spices. Extremely dry, with strong acidity. Still maintains its medium body. Very dark flavors of dark cherries, blackberries, tar, and plenty of earth.
