4th Anniversary Wine! — 2 years ago
Happy 4th! This is at or near it’s prime drinking window! — 4 years ago
‘Las Alturas' Spanish for 'the heights', a fitting name, this vineyard located on one of the highest grape-growing benches in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. 4th gen Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner from family with farming & winemaking roots in Napa since 1906. Met Joe on a trip to CT, my last autographed bottle! Deep Ruby (darkest Pinot I have come across). Nice berry, floral and sweet spice aromas. Rich cherry/plum flavors with oak, spice and vanilla. Long ending with sweet oak notes. Nice! A Fav! — 4 years ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 8 months ago
Happy 4th of July. Nothing better to pair with the 100 degree heat index in the Florida Keys🇺🇸🥵🍷*from a magnum- #berserkerdaybuys — 2 years ago
Very nice..hints of raisin, light body, but not too light. Great wine with a smoked ribeye on my wife's July 4th birthday! — 4 years ago

A 4th growth wine from Lethe left bank of Bordeaux that will give you the run for the money. Had the 2007 in 2025 and the wine held very well. Aromatics remained elevated and enticing. Already passed its prime, but the aging aspect was compelling. Abundant on baked raisins, dates and overripe dark cherry on both nose and palate. Unbelievably smooth and silky. Medium Acidity, and medium plus tannins. Great texture and no overly lingering finish. — a month ago
