I had the ‘17 and the 18 is quite similar - still in its youth, plenty of classic PN aromas & flavors. Not as suave & sophisticated as advertised, at least to my palate, but nice QPR at under $20

Bright garnet/ruby color. Beautiful floral nose with hints of dark cherry and root beer. Bright dark cherry fruit on the pallet with hints of fresh soil, minerals and just a touch of that root beer. Bright and fruit forward. Soft texture and well balanced. Excellent German Pinot Noir.

Dark fruit (mulberries, dark cherries, forest fruit compote (love the warmness of 2018 here!)) with w pinch of exotic spice (clove, cinnamon, anise?) But also nice sappy freshness., a hint of fresh moss or tree bark. This is enticing!
On the palate this surprises with lightness, purity, linear clarity and brilliant juiciness. Fine, polished tannins, great quality of fruit - this is so full of character yet almost weightless.
You could take this for a perfect glou glou wine (and it is!) but there’s a also wink of seriousness, too!
