Juicy; Sour cherry, tart red fruit and flowers. Funky but pretty crushable.

Opened overnight. Still full of energy, red fruited and earthy, but finishes with that bean-like character I associate with "natural-wines-that-went-over-the-edge-
after-too-much-air". Still a nice drink if you can get past that bean element. Would be nice to see it a day prior.

Reductive funk on opening recedes pretty quickly after decanting. Few hours later the fruit is of the serious black kind & laced with wood spice. Sour cherry and blackcurrant but with dominant notes of black liquorice sticks, hickory, dandelion & burdock, damson & black tea on the nose. Palate has good concentration and structure with dusty but firm tannins (for Bojo), this may be from young vines but should really benefit from some time in bottle. (5+years) Palate shows inky black cherry and blackcurrant fruit that leans slightly more towards the savoury end of the scale. Less complex than the nose, hopefully will open out with time in bottle.

This particular bottle was quite volatile, distractingly so. That being said, lovely palate - super energetic, vivid fruit, racy, electric. Mouthfeel is angular, needs to flesh out a bit. The finish echoes the fruit, with a mineral twang. Overall a bit shrieky, the wine yells rather than sings.

Violets & raspberries on the nose & palate. Elegant smooth & delicious Fleurie with a lot of depth. Delicious. No Brett here or other faults mentioned on other posts.
