One of those brain farts where I can't tell if it's refined or muted

Gols shiny yellow. Rich honey with herbs and lush flavor. Hint of mature funk. Wonderful for such an old white wine.

In the Yarra style that deserves down food and a vanilla sky sunset. Not that oak dominates, just that in seeking perfection it's not quite ripe.

Completely different than the Alto-Adige Chardonnay, sweet oak, fruit is still good but starting to fade, big and rich, finish is good but oak-dominant, solid Aussie Chardonnay.

Good, but maybe not remarkable - a solid Chardonnay, pretty text book.
