Light purple in color with a white rim.

Fruity nose with figs, ripped blackberries and sweet spice. Same goes for the palate, on a medium body, with chocolate and vanilla.

Smooth and not too acidic as expected from an inexpensive wine. Short finish with mild tannins.

I didn't care much for the spice at the finish, but it is an ok wine. Especially for those who love semi sweet reds.

Not a fan of the 2015 vintage. It's rather tart - less berry flavored, less bodied. Eventually brings out some oaky flavors much later as it opens up, becomes less tart-y. Much lighter and less flavorsome than the 2014. If you find the previous year - buy it.

Not a fan of yellow tail... paired with braised beef ribs for class.

Berry forward at first sip, then smooth with a nice spicy kick at the end. I think this is a great wine for the price.
