Light purple in color with a white rim.

Fruity nose with figs, ripped blackberries and sweet spice. Same goes for the palate, on a medium body, with chocolate and vanilla.

Smooth and not too acidic as expected from an inexpensive wine. Short finish with mild tannins.

I didn't care much for the spice at the finish, but it is an ok wine. Especially for those who love semi sweet reds.

In the UK, so thought I would actually try the Yellow Tail phenomenon. What a fruit bomb! Way too sweet. With air it became strongly medicinal with aniseed, blackberry and clovey spice. Can’t help but feel if the sweetness was dialled back, it might actually be ok for its price.

Berry fruit aromas with floral scents. On the palate Cherry flavors, sone sweet candy spices with pepper on the ending. Unique. Needs chilling. Not for me! Tasting Sample.

What can I say, great little wine, very honest price for an everyday wine. Good body, deep, fruits, good on the nose and palate. Hey, what can I say, I’ve had wines that cost 4 times more than this one but they lack, this one lacks nothing. For the price you pay, this bottle is a pretty good deal
