Apr 27th, 2015OK in a pinch. Add chopped apples and orange slices (squeeze juice first) into your glass full of ice to make it more enjoyable. Drank during COVID WFH 2020

Suprise Me criteria: Cheap, fun, fruity
Response: Im Down
Served: chilled 24 hours, over ice, in a thermal mug. Ice, Ice, Baby!
Observation: 11.5 ABV. Perfumey Citrus (not too obnoxious), raspberry, apple, on-top of dark plonky notes. Served ice cold, easy to drink more than ones weight. Its decent for RTD (Ready to Drink), just serve ice cold.
Has my support at $6. Great base for a quick home Sangria, add your own fresh fruit and brandy, and/or whatever you consider the spice of life.

Really convenient in a pinch for white sangria. Add peach schnapps, strawberries peaches and orange and you have a party.

Mar 20th, 2018One of my all time favorites! It's great w/ brandy and fruit as well as without. You don't need to wait for summer to enjoy this treat! Dive in.

Yellow Tail Sangria. It's inspired by Sangria made from Spain. They say on their site that it is from Australia.
Tasting this, the first thing I noticed was the alcohol content. The ABV is 11% which is not strong compared to Real Sangria by Cruz Garcia, which is 7%. I felt a bit of a strong sensation in my nose, and a little burning in my throat. The good thing about it though was the fruity taste that it had to it. You can taste the citrus, as well as different berries such as a little raspberry, and blueberry. It has some Flamboyance. It's a bit off-dry, because the sweetness level was not as high as other Sangria would be, and leaves a bit of a dryness in my mouth. Call me biased but I really felt this way when trying it. Everyone is different. Overall, it's not bad and it's cool to have when having a party and you don't have a lot of money to spend on wine.
