Watch out Napa. Watch out France. Watch out Tuscany. Australia has arrived on the scene. This exotic red from Oceania has the ‘roos hopping. Fruit on the front, spicy on the back. Hint of crustacean in the middle. Pairs excellent with a fresh Bloomin’ Onion when you’re out of Fosters. Always have one or two on hand for rugby Sunday’s.

Yalumba wines are great values. For $13 this is a delicious, fruity wine with a pepper and spice component to it. Nice to just sip, would be good with a wide range of foods. Grilled meats?

Smooth Shiraz with a zesty pop of acidity from the white wine (4%). Very good value (wine book), but does have a bit of an acidic splash and floral smell to it that tastes unique for a medium/full red wine

The flavor had too much sweet fruit in it for me- would not buy again.
