Multi Vintage 15, 16, 17...
Pinkish-red with orange specs. Aromas are alcoholic/hot, otherwise licorice,.spicy, earthy, and oaky. Dry with medium tannins. To me this wine is definitely young. But I'm not convinced of its improvability.

Big, bold and intense. Mix of 07,09 and 10 vintages. Dark plum, bloodiness, a hint of heat. Good

Vintage 2007 / I did not know Xavier Vignon, it’s a kind of magician. This wine has almost anything: seductive flowers in the smell, elegance and so much refinement. #chateauneufdupape

Juicy and big; polished texture. A BBQ treat.

I quite enjoyed this unusual CdP that combines wines from 2007, 2009 and 2010. The wine still seems very youthful and needs an hour or two in a decanter to show is best. It doesn't have the powerful depth of some of Vignon's wines but it is still very appealing with well extracted blackberry, red fruit and a lovely whiff of garigue. Ripe, smooth tannic impression

This multi-vintage (VII IX X) CDP delivers classic kirsch w black currant & blackberry, garrigue & dried herbs, graphite & tar w a hint of vanilla on the lengthy finish ~ continued opening up well past the 3 hours I had it opened ~ and paired well w a modified chicken alfredo!

So let's system, 07,08,10 blended. Might be slightly heat damaged

Another Xavier, out of the park! Just such profound elements, every sip is a new discovery!

Blend of '15, '16 and '17.

Gentle herb aroma with vanilla and jammy Grenache flavor. Quite mild and smooth. Elegant. A bit young, so a bit spicy, but a few years later, it should be much better. 2016 @1760, domaine -, 220113-220120
