Opened yesterday, mainly to be ready for today, but this btl was so.compelling there wasn't much left for today! On the counter unrefrigerated overnight. Lovely nose: loads of brambles, olive brine, soft charcoal, beef blood, black raspberry, funk...such classic syrah. Fantastic acid on the palate; great density, spicy, pepper, red and black fruit, with such beautifully elegant tannin on the finish. Just a baby, but this is already excellent.

Finally on day three this settled down. I’m not used to these bruisers, but they tell a story.
