Unabashedly old world. Firm acids still in this ancient vine carginan. Good with chard/raisin/anchovy/pepper flake pasta and braised fennel

Deep purplish ruby red. Very dirty in the nose, earthy, leather, a little funky, forest floor, floral and dark cherries. Well balanced acidity with low to medium tannins (4.5/10). Super dry with flowers, leather, dark cherries and a touch of gravel. Long finish. Good food wine. Drink till 2020.

Dark as night, but not big. This was actually an amazing value of a wine. I accidental bought 4 bottles and now I'm very glad I did. Has both red and black fruits on the nose, but is perfectly balanced and has a earthiness which just makes it beautiful. One of the best values I know...

Nice weekday dinner wine. Nose has loads of ripe cherry and red berry scents, along with stones plucked from a stream. Mouthfilling ripe fruit flavors with a fairly lively frame. Simple but at around $11 it's a great value.

115 year old vines for $12? Not a bad garagiste bottle. Although probably better for a Tuesday night than Friday. Dirty cherries on the palate and roses on the nose. Probably too young to reveal itself, but probably not enough there to age it too long. Then again, I could be wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Purple color. Red cherries, raspberries, dirt on the nose. Fruits continue on the palate with dust, leather, pepper and crunchy tannins. Feels young.

Leather, cedar, tart cherry. Tart fades as it opens. Quite nice; red berries

Intense purple color. Nice earthiness on the nose. Acid for sure. Fit and trim. A summer wine I think
