Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

George Wyndham became the father of Australian Shiraz after planting Australia's first commercial Shiraz vineyard in 1830. Aromas of dark red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate tart cherry flavors overwhelmed with pepper, cacao and oaky spices. Medium finish ending a bit out of balance. Pass. Tasting Sample!

Loved this wine, great to drink even when not eating. Wasn't too dry.

Definitely not the most complex or peppery Shiraz. Short finish. But it's well balanced. Quite fruity almost jammy with a bit of spice. Had it with jambalaya and it was really nice

2012 bottle. Cheap, and I've got jaw pain, which I'm assuming is an additive response.

Great cheapie Australian red, with classic peppery and wood notes on a traditional flavoursome bodied Shiraz. Great with mild curries and other spicy dishes!
